There are many badges that Scouts can earn. These can be seen as either Challenge badges, Activity Badges or Staged Activity Badges.

Challenge Badges / Awards

There are currently nine Challenges for the Scouts to complete, click on the badges to see more details from the ScoutBase Website.

	The Promise Challenge		The Outdoor Challenge
	The Outdoor Plus Challenge		The Creative Challenge
	The Fitness Challenge		The Global Challenge
	The Community Challenge		The Adventure Challenge
	The Expedition Challenge

The reward for gaining eight of these nine challenge awards is the Chief Scout's Gold Award.

Activity Badges

Activity Badges are another way of recognising the achievements of Scouts who have learnt a new skill, or who have taken part in an activity for a certain period of time. There are about 70 of these to earn, and more details of the Activity badges can be seen from the ScoutBase Website.

Staged Activity Badges

There are six activity badges that scouts can earn in stages, each stage completed, results in the award of a badge. Click on the description to see more details from the ScoutBase Website.
